ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES SALE
The North Shore Community Centre hosts two Antiques & Collectibles Sales each year - one in March, and one in October. We have 20-30 vendors come from all across BC, and even some from AB! We have roughly 50 tables of beautiful antique and collectible items for sale. Cost is $40.00 per table for vendors, and $4.00 a person entrance fee. Children 12 and under are free. Please inquire at the office if you would like to participate in this sale.
Every second Sunday of the month and every last Tuesday of the month NSCCS hosts a Community Dinner. Cost is only $12.00 a ticket (pre-purchased at the office) and includes dinner and live entertainment.There is also always a 50/50 draw. We appreciate all the entertainers who dedicate their time to making these nights memorable.
FALL CRAFT FAIR
We hold an annual Fall Craft Fair, Bake Sale and Tea Time sometime in October/November. Admission is by donation. Tables are $20 each and can be rented at the Front Desk starting a month prior to the event. Craft AND product vendors are welcome. We ask that there be NO flea market-type items.
We hold weekly Flea Markets on Sundays from 8am - 1pm in the winter months starting on November 3. To rent table space please stop by the office. Cost is $7.00 to rent a table. Admission to the Flea Market is by donation.
MOTHER'S DAY TEA TIME
We hold an annual Mother's Day Bake Sale and Tea on the Saturday before Mother's Day. Many thanks to our sponsors for making this event possible.
Usually held the third Tuesday of the month, our Pie Nights include coffee, tea, pie and entertainment for only $3.00 a person (everyone is welcome).
ARTS & CRAFTS
Rose Rodrigues runs 6-week art classes usually in the spring and in the fall. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes are available. Interested individuals can contact Rose directly at 250.376.3198.
Cotton Pickers quilters call us home, and we see them every other Wednesday afternoon. To join this group please contact the office for more information.
This knitting group meets Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm. Interested individuals should contact Janet at 250-578-0056. Cost is $2/person per evening.

FITNESS & DANCE
A low-impact fitness program choreographed to music that provides the platform for your body, mind and spirit, to find joy, move, dance and heal. Those men and women who feel uncoordinated, out of shape or who have physical limitations often enjoy Nia more than any other fitness program. For more information call Carole at 250.828.2109. Dawn 2 Dusk Line Dancing at the North Shore Community Centre on Thursday afternoons at 1pm is a fun way to keep in shape and forge some new friendships. This year promises some new steps as well as the basics. Laughter and friendships are an integral part of the dance club and new comers are always welcome. Drop-ins are welcome. DANCE WITH ME KAMLOOPS

Latin & International music creates a dynamic fitness workout. Instruction by Laurie Russell. Beginner, intermediate and advanced aerobics classes available. TAI CHI BREATHING
The North Shore Community Centre thanks Jan for providing Tai Chi targeted for seniors. She provides sessions Tuesdays from 1:00pm until 2:30pm and Fridays from 10:15am until 11:30am. Cost is $5 a class plus $2.00 per class drop-in fee payable to NSCCS. ($7.00 total per class). Members of NSCCS receive $1 discount.
YOGA WITH ANDREA
Yoga Instructor Andrea’s claim to fame is the time that she spent in Taylor, BC instructing Yoga classes to the residents for the filming of the “Village on a Diet” series which aired in 2011 on CBC. Andrea has studied a variety of yoga styles and continues to take seminars and classes to further her instructing ability. Friday mornings from 10:15am until 11:15am NSCCS hosts an old-fashioned sing-a-long. Drop in fee is $1.00 for members and $2.00 for non-members. You do not have to be a professional singer to come out – all you need is a willing heart!
This group of dedicated individuals come practice their favorite old German songs—and songs written by Peter Young, their music conductor. The group meets every second Thursday from 1:30-3:30pm. Interested individuals can contact Frieda at 250.376.3814.
